The Holographic Nature of Water Holly Hallowell

Our memories are far more than static snapshots of the past. They are dynamic, multidimensional experiences that live within us, constantly shifting, evolving, and influencing our present. What if, instead of viewing our memories as simple mental recordings, we saw them as holographic projections—three-dimensional, fluid, and deeply connected to the water in our bodies? This approach not only transforms how we understand memory but also offers profound insights into emotional healing.

Memory as a Hologram

The concept of memory as a hologram invites us to rethink how we store, process, and revisit our experiences. A hologram is a 3D image that can be reconstructed from even a small piece of the whole, with each fragment containing the entirety of the information. Similarly, our memories are not stored in isolated “files” in the brain but rather as interconnected networks of emotions, senses, and experiences that can be accessed from various angles. This network is continuously reshaped by both conscious reflection and subconscious processes.

Holograms are unique in that they are not just representations of something—they appear lifelike and can be explored from different perspectives, revealing new layers each time we engage with them. Likewise, memories, especially those tied to intense emotions, feel alive. When we recall an experience, we don’t just “remember” it in a linear sense; we relive the emotions, the textures, and even the smells of that moment, often with startling clarity. This dimensionality of memory, with its depth and richness, hints at the possibility that memories are encoded in ways that go beyond simple cognition.

What if we could consciously edit these holographic memories—not by erasing them, but by shifting how we interact with them? This is where Story Weaving comes in.

Story Weaving: Rewriting the Holographic Script

If memories function as holograms, then we have the power to alter how they are projected. Story Weaving is the practice of consciously reframing and rewriting our internal narratives to shift the way our past influences our present. By engaging the Reticular Activating System (the brain’s filter for attention) and neuroplasticity, we can recode old memories, replacing limiting stories with empowering ones.

For example, a painful memory of rejection might be stored as a holographic imprint in our emotional body, replaying whenever we encounter similar situations. But through Story Weaving, we can revisit that moment—not to deny or erase it, but to shift our perspective. We can infuse the memory with a new emotional resonance, focusing on the strength, resilience, or lessons gained rather than the pain. In doing so, we recast ourselves as the hero of our story rather than the victim (for example).

The holographic nature of memory means that even small narrative shifts can ripple outward, transforming the entire emotional structure of our past experiences. Water plays a crucial role in this process.

Water and Emotion: The Body’s Fluid Memory Bank

Water is the medium of memory in more ways than one. Our bodies are made up of about 90% water molecularly, and water is essential to nearly every physiological process, including those related to memory and emotion. In many holistic traditions, water is seen as a vessel that holds and transmits emotional energy. From a scientific perspective, water has the unique ability to hold structural information, which is why it is often considered a potential medium for the encoding and storage of emotional experiences.

The body’s water, in this sense, may serve as a living archive for our emotions. Just as water takes the shape of whatever container it’s in, the emotional experiences we endure might be encoded within the fluid medium of our bodies. This allows for a dynamic and ongoing interaction between emotion, memory, and the body’s water. When we experience an emotion—whether it’s joy, grief, fear, or love—the body’s water might “hold” that experience, affecting both our physical and emotional states.

This is where Water Activation comes in.

Water Activation: Releasing Stagnant Emotional Imprints

Waterbending, in the context of healing and manifestation, is the practice of encoding water with specific frequencies, intentions, and emotional states to shift internal and external realities. If memory is stored holographically in the body’s water, then working with water can be a direct way to release and transform emotional imprints.

In a Water Activation Session, for instance, we might use a three-glass technique representing Past, Present, and Future timelines. By consciously transferring energy, emotion, and intention through the water, we are reprogramming the way our memories influence us.

This isn’t just symbolic—scientific studies on water memory, such as those by Dr. Masaru Emoto and Veda Austin, suggest that water holds and responds to vibrational information. Through intentional water programming, we can release old emotional patterns and activate new states of being, shifting our relationship to past experiences.

The Amygdala’s Role: Deciding What Stays and What Goes

Central to this process is the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for processing emotions, particularly fear and anxiety. The amygdala plays a key role in deciding which memories should be stored with emotional significance. When we experience something emotionally charged, the amygdala tags that memory, making it more vivid and persistent.

But here’s the key—flow states can downregulate the amygdala that is well meaning but often times keeps us in cycles that no longer serve us.

Flow State and Emotional Fluidity

When we enter a flow state, the prefrontal cortex (responsible for overthinking and self-judgment) quiets down, and the amygdala’s grip on emotional memories loosens. This is why peak performers often report feeling timeless and unburdened—they are temporarily free from the weight of past emotional imprints.

Engaging in breathwork, creative immersion, movement, or energy work activates flow states, allowing us to process and integrate old emotional memories more effectively. By combining Flow State Techniques with Water Activation, we create a powerful synergy for emotional healing and transformation.

A Path to Healing: Reprogramming the Body’s Water

If memories are stored in the water of our bodies, then releasing or transforming emotional blockages involves working directly with that water. This means:

  • Consciously rewriting past narratives through Story Weaving.
  • Using Water Activation techniques to encode and reprogram memory-laden water.
  • Entering Flow State to loosen the amygdala’s grip and allow emotional fluidity.

Healing isn’t just about mentally processing old wounds—it’s about changing how our bodies hold those experiences. By reprogramming the water of our bodies, we reprogram our emotional reality.

Conclusion: The Holographic Body and the Fluidity of Memory

Viewing memory as a hologram encoded in the water of our bodies offers a transformative lens through which we can understand how we process and hold emotional experiences. Far from being static records of the past, memories are living, breathing parts of us, stored in both the mind and the body’s fluid systems.

By integrating Story Weaving, Water Activation, and Flow State, we move beyond intellectual healing into embodied transformation.

Memories are not fixed. They are holograms, constantly shifting, rewriting, and evolving. And so are we.
